Chilean Papaya - cooked in its own syrup

The Carica Candamarcencis, or Chilean Papaya, is a native fruit that grows on the mountains in the north of Chile. It is fresh and slightly acidic, and has an almost berry-like flavor. Try it as a dessert, or in sweet preparations. It will add a special flavour and crunch to any salad or stir fry. Chilean Papaya can even be used in preparations with meat, as a garnish, or to prepare a bittersweet sauce.

Chilean Papaya Syrup

This syrup made out of Carica Candamarcencis, or Chilean Papaya, is the perfect complement for sweet foods and desserts. It’s amazing on pancakes and waffles! Like all Chilean Papaya products, it conserves all of the fruit’s healthy properties, such as having very few calories, and being rich in vitamins A, B and C.
